Shabura

Ingredients

  • 6 blended eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup oil
  • 6 spoons powdered milk
  • 1\2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 spoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 spoons carbonate baking soda
  • 1 spoon anise

Recipe

  1. Mix all the ingredients-except the carbonate of baking soda- with a mixing machine
  2. After mixing, add the baking soda.
  3. Put the mixture in a rectangular tray and put it in the oven until it well done.
  4. Take the tray out and cut the Shabura into one inch thick and invert it on the other side
  5. Then, put it in the over again until a brownish color show up
 

Ingredients

Ma'mul
  • 1 kilo flour
  • 200 gram butter
  • 2 spoons ghee
  • 1\2 cup oil
  • 6 spoons powdered milk
  • 2 spoons powdered sugar
  • 1\2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 kilo unseeded dates

Recipe

  1. Melt the butter and ghee with oil over a medium heat.
  2. pour the mixture to the flour and the rest of the ingredients and mix them will
  3. Add half cup of cold water on the mixture
  4. form the dough into small balls
  5. Stuff a small piece of date in each ball and reform it again
  6. put them in a tray then in the oven until a golden color show up
  7. Let it cool and dust with powdered sugar

 

Muhallabia

Ingredients

  • 1 litter of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 5 spoons of Corn Starch
  • 1 teaspoon of rose water
  • 1 teaspoon flower water

Recipe

  1. Put all the ingredients in a pot and heat it on a light heat
  2. Keep stirring until the mixture become thicker
  3. Then Put the mixture in small bowls and put it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours
  4. You may decorate it with ground pistachio on the top
 
Ghuraiba

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of wheat flour
  • 1 cup of white flour
  • 1/2 cup almond (fried and grounded)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 spoons ghee
  • 2 spoons butter

Recipe

  1. Melt the ghee and the butter with the oil over a medium heat
  2. Mix the other ingredients together and divide the dough into small balls
  3. Take each ball and press it slightly
  4. Heat them in the oven until a brownish color
 

  Kunafa

Kunafa

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilo kunafa
  • 200 grams melted butter
  • 4 pieces banana (cut into slices)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamon
  • 1 spoon sugar

Recipe

  1. separate the Kunafa form each other and mix it with butter
  2. Place the half of the Kunafa in a tray and put the banana on the top
  3. Then, add the other half of the Kunafa on the top
  4. Heat it in the oven until its color became brown
  5. serve it wit syrup and pistachio on the top
 

  Lahuh

Lahuh

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of wheat flour
  • 2 cups of water
  • teaspoon of salt
  • Almond
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Melted butter

Recipe

  1. First boil the almond peel it
  2. Fry the almond until golden brown color show up
  3. Put in the blender machine to crash it 
  4. Mix it with powdered sugar
  5. mix the first three ingredients together
  6. prepare a small pan with a little melted butter and put it on the top of a medium heat
  7. Take an amount of one big "soup spoon" and fry it in the pan (like making the pancake)
  8. after it is well-done, put it in a plate and add on the top 1 spoon of butter, sugar, and almond
  9. Continue doing the same process until the amount finishes
 
Dates Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of unseeded dates
  • 1 cup of semolina
  • 1/4 cup of dried coconut
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 3 table spoons of flour
  • 2 table spoons pf powdered milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pf baking powder
  • 1 table spoon of habba soda
  • 1 table spoon of sesame seeds

Recipe

  1. Mix all the ingredients by the electric mixer except the sesame and habba soda
  2. Put the mixture in paper cups
  3. Add sesame and habba soda on the top
  4. Bake it for about 30 minutes
 
Aish As-Saraya

Ingredients

  • 6 pieces of toast bread without the edge
  • 2 grams of melted butter
  • 3 spoons of powdered semolina
  • 1\2 cup of milk
  • Mozzarella cheese

Recipe

  1. Grand the toast in the machine, and then place it in a tray
  2. Put the melted butter on the top of the toast and press the toast with your hand
  3. Add mozzarella cheese until it covers the toast, and then add semolina
  4. Put the tray in the oven until the color turns to golden brown
  5. Take the tray from the oven, and invent it
  6. Finally serve it with syrup and pistachios
 

Ingredients

Lugaimat
  • 2 glasses flour
  • 2 spoons powdered milk
  • 1 can of nestle cream
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 spoon black seeds (habba soda)
  • 1 spoon yeast
  • 1 1/2 glass of water

Recipe

  1. Mix all the ingredients and keep the mixture for one hour
  2. Get a small spoon and take a little bit of the mixture and drop it in a heated oil
  3. Keep doing that until the mixture finish
  4. Add syrup to the hot lugaimat and then serve
