Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani met this afternoon, a number of members Alsaddaqah Parliamentary Assembly of Saudi-Japanese together with members of the delegation led by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for cultural affairs and economic, Dr. Yousef Al Sadoun, Dr. Abdulaziz Turkistani and members of the embassy at the Japanese Parliament office. |

The Minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his wishes to the friendly people of Japan continued progress and prosperity, and the condolences of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the March 11 earthquake that devastated cities of northeast Japan. |

Minister Madani delivered a brief speech mentioning about the close ties between the two countries and the ways to foster the strategic partnership between the Kingdom and Japan at all levels. A number of the members talked about their experiences in the Kingdom and thanks and appreciation for their Kingdom for its $ 20 million worth aid in the aftermath of the earthquake beside assistances and visits by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy to the affected areas, which left a wonderful impression to those people affected by the earthquake. All the attendees had a luncheon in honor of His Excellency at the Parliament office. |
